Two of Florida’s most formidable girls’ soccer programs collide today as nationally-ranked Bartram Trail takes on Sunlake in a semifinal matchup.
The Bears, who sit atop the 6A classification, face a Seahawks squad that’s riding high after avenging their lone loss with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Steinbrenner in the regional final.
Sunlake’s dynamic offense, powered by Kayla Bays (14 goals) and Adia Symmonds (11 goals), will test a stingy Bears defense that’s surrendered just 0.32 goals per game.
