Mike Evans Earns Sixth Pro Bowl Selection
TAMPA — Mike Evans added to his Pro Football Hall of Fame-worthy resume on Monday with his sixth Pro Bowl selection.
Evans will replace injured Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb on the NFC roster for the NFL’s 2025 all-star event, the league announced.
His six Pro Bowl appearances tie him with Bucs legends like Mike Alstott, Lee Roy Selmon, and Gerald McCoy, making him one of the most recognized players in team history. He trails only Derrick Brooks (11) and Warren Sapp (7) for the most appearances.
Despite overcoming a hamstring injury that forced him to miss three games, Evans managed to achieve his 11th consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season, tying the legendary Jerry Rice for the most in NFL history.
The milestone happened during the Bucs’ regular season finale against the Saints, where Evans finished with 74 receptions for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns.
In addition to his on-field success, Evans is also the Bucs’ nominee for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
Joining left tackle Tristan Wirfs and defensive tackle Vita Vea, Evans will represent the Buccaneers at the Pro Bowl Games taking place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2 in Orlando. The event will conclude with a flag football game at Camping World Stadium on Feb. 2.
