Pinellas County Girls Basketball Player of the Week Nominees

Voting for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the week poll is open for games played from Jan. 13-18. Cast your vote before 9 a.m. on Monday to support your favorite player!

Ellie Bross, So., Calvary Christian:

Ellie scored an impressive 37 points in a recent win over Hollins, showcasing her offensive prowess on the court.

Mauricia Climes, 8th, Lakeside Christian:

Mauricia dominated the boards, averaging 13 rebounds per game in victories against Foundation Christian, Cambridge Christian, and Oasis Christian.

Emme Dalhoff, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic:

Emme filled up the stat sheet with 25 points, five assists, and five steals in a standout performance against Palm Harbor University.

Maya deVega, Jr., Keswick Christian:

Maya showed her all-around game with 14 points, four 3-pointers, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals in a win over Countryside.

Liv Geritano, Sr., St. Petersburg Catholic:

Liv averaged 11.7 points and an impressive 6.2 steals per game in wins over several tough opponents.

Ana Leka, Sr., Largo:

Ana put up strong numbers, averaging 17.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in recent victories.

Alahni Lovett, Sr., Lakewood:

Alahni led her team with an average of 23.6 points per game in wins against quality competition.

Jy’Aira Washington, So., Northeast:

Jy’Aira’s scoring prowess helped her team to a 3-1 record for the week.

Kinsley Spoor, Jr., St. Petersburg Catholic:

Kinsley’s double-double performance earned her the title of player of the week for Jan. 6-11, receiving 77 percent of the votes.

Alyssa Wright, Jr., Countryside:

Alyssa’s MVP performance in a tournament victory secured her the player of the week title for Dec. 23-Jan. 4.

Emily Dalhoff, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic:

Cadyn Wiebe, So., Calvary Christian:

Cadyn’s hustle and performance in a win over Indian Rocks Christian made her the player of the week for Dec. 9-14.

Julia Comfort, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic:

Julia’s all-around game in a win over St. Petersburg Catholic led to her winning the title of player of the week for Dec. 2-7.

Summer Shaw, Fr., St. Petersburg:

Summer’s impressive stats in wins over Largo and Clearwater Central Catholic earned her the player of the week honor for Nov. 18-23.
